Babs highlighted the impact these factors have on an individual’s path to success or hindrance to achieving their goals. He also noted the shift from physical to virtual meetings due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The discussion for the month centered around the notion of the “achiever’s will”, with a focus on how it influences their ability to push through challenges and achieve their objectives.

Oparah shared her decision not to rely solely on her certificate after graduation, which led her to explore her creative passions and eventually start her own graphics and writing business. This decision paid off as she has been able to sustain herself through her artistic pursuits without seeking a traditional 9-5 job. Her story inspired Babs and others in the meeting to share their own experiences and decisions. Julius then began sharing his contrasting experiences, mentioning a course mate who immediately began a master’s degree after his first degree and a decision he made regarding a certain course of action, but the details of these experiences were not fully disclosed.
