About Babatunde
Babatunde Oladele regards himself, first, as a student of life. His thinking and work are shaped by moral formation and lived experience, with reflections drawn from Scripture, close observation of life and the living, and the hard lessons of human suffering—mistakes made, pressures endured, and values tested over time.
He is a public-spirited leader, writer, and publisher whose work engages questions of leadership, responsibility, purpose, and accountability across civic, organizational, and everyday contexts. Through writing, mentoring, and public engagement, he explores how values are formed, how they guide decision-making, and how they are sustained under pressure.
Education & Training
Babatunde obtained his first degree in English Literature at the University of Ibadan. Some years later, he enrolled for a master’s degree in Communication & Language Arts (CLA) at the same institution. In 2024, he completed another master’s degree in Public Service (MPS) at the Clinton School of Public Service, where he graduated with a distinction, while also bagging an additional professional certificate in Communications for Social Change in its wake.
He is also an Alumnus of Lagos Business School; Enterprise Development Centre and the School of Media and Communications where he has undergone executive and professional education in Owner-Manager Program (LBS), Agribusiness Management Program (LBS), Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management (EDC), as well as Advanced Writing & Reporting Skills (SMC).
His insatiable quest for self-development has also taken him to Strathmore Business School (SBS), Kenya and an Executive Study Tour in Chicago, Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin, where he participated at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Emerging Markets module organized by the University of Wisconsin, Platteville.
Awards
Babatunde is a recipient of multiple awards and recognitions during and after his university days; notable among which was the Outstanding Enterprise Award he was conferred by IBM at a ceremony marking its 100th Anniversary in Lagos, Nigeria.
