Go for value, not for average; be the solution provider, not the best debater or analyst of the problems, and in no time your worth will be recognized. Even if you work in the most inhospitable places and your superiors do not seem to like your face, if you are committed to adding value and proffering solutions, in no distant future those that matter will come knocking on your door.
