Thanksgiving Message
One of the benefits of being a professional writer is that it helps you to think beyond the average veneer of thoughts to the realm of the sublime in order to develop a piece that will both bless the readers and achieve your goals as a writer, whatever that may be. Any writing devoid of this conscious investment of rigorous thinking is limp at best.
And thoughtfulness is the primary ingredient for gratitude. An African saying holds that, “only a thinking person can come to the realization of gratitude.”
Writing has thus helped me to build a journal of gratitude to commemorate different landmarks and dispensations of my life, from growing up days, to schooling experience, work exposures, relationships, and even units of time such as particular days, weeks, months and years.
Thinking helps me write, writing helps me journal, journaling makes me grateful, and gratitude increases my capacity to receive more.
