No one can confidently boast of being in business until he or she starts dealing with staff issues. Each of us carries varying forms of baggage from different sources, some of which we bring to the workplace and influence our job performance or relationship with subordinates, colleagues and managers.
When you are able to manage all those dynamics successfully for a sustained number of years and still achieve a good part of your organisational goals, that is when you can truly say you are in business.
