Coping with Adversity

In the face of adversity, it is more convenient to shrink or downsize rather than expand. That is the easy way out but you should never settle for it because, unless you already have a significant reserve or your cut-down build up for you a war chest from which you can rebuild when the tough tide is over, you may never get back to the size you shrank from.

If you do, it may cost more and take a longer time for you to get back there, as well as time and resources you could have spent further expanding.
